Gnomes & pip the chick.

Meet Pip:

Isn't he the cutest? My brother thought it would be funny to buy him for $5 and surprise my mom.  We only get to keep him for a couple of days, however. Sad, because Pip is the cutest.

My big little brother!

My favorite one:

Siblings & cousins! Love the lighting.

Pretty little sis:

Love these three! Going to miss them when I head to Utah.

Found this little treasure at my grandparent's. Every time you walk past him, he insults you in some way. It's great!

Apparently I wasn't the only one...

Remember my little fainting spree?

Well apparently I was not the only one who passed out during the movie. Here is a clip from a local news story...

This girl's story about fainting sounds suuper similar to mine. At least I wasn't the only one!

[And a girl posted on FB that she fainted as well. ]

Well, enough about fainting I just love the part from the first one: "there have already been rumored reports of audience members fainting.." It's true!

Another GREAT pinterest find. First there is a layer of cookie dough. Then oreos (I used PB ones, but you can use the plain ones too). Lastly pour brownie batter over the top viola! More thorough directions here :]

You know those HUGE cupcakes they advertise on TV? Well, my roommate has one & it is SO fun to make different desserts out of it. We poked holes in the middle of the cake & poured carmel in. Soaked it up and tasted SO good! Also had Symphony bar pieces in the middle & on top, along with whipped cream and sprinkles. Tasted even better than it looks!

My go to meal: SO easy & SO cheap. Plus it's amazing when it's freezing cold outside. All that is in it is chicken broth, potatoes, carrots, celery, ground chicken, and random seasonings.  I use real chicken too, that is just all I had on hand at the moment.

My cute roommate & her beautiful hair!

Probably not the best idea to jump on the tramp after a big Thanksgiving meal.. but we did anyways.

The thing I missed most about Thanksgiving being away from home...

Aren't they the cutest??

Cancer

I bet every single one of you knows someone personally who has or has had some form of cancer.  It is a disease that affects the lives of so many people. Cancer doesn't care about if you're healthy or not. My grandma is the most healthy person I know who takes such great care of herself.  My grandma is sick. She was diagnosed about a month ago with Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. She recently went through her first round of chemotherapy and hopefully the cancer responds to it.

I'm sharing this because I know so many people are going through similar challenges and facing terrible sicknesses in their families/friends as well.  I just want to post a few pictures my sister sent me that definitely made me choke up a bit, but also cheered me up and made my day! ((thanks sis)) These are some of the sweetest boys in the whole world. I love them all so much and am so touched that they buzzed/shaved their heads to help cheer up and support my grandma since she recently lost all of her hair. Aren't they just the cutest things ever? Best boys I know, hands down.

My cute little brothers are on the opposite ends of this picture. Such goofballs that I miss having around to always make me laugh :]

I just pray everyday that if it is meant to be, my grandma will be able to make it through this! She is strong & I hope with everything in me that that is the case.  She is the sweetest lady, and I hope for my grandpa's sake and my family's sake, as well as her's, she can pull through. I love you! I love you all, miss you guys so much!

I hope these pictures make you guys smile like they were able to do for me :)

UTAH is beautiful. The weather is amazing, even a tad chilly for an Arizona native. I'm living in University Villa for the Summer term and am still deciding where I want to live for the fall/winter semester. Here is a couple pictures of mi cuarto:

+Job hunting is going to be the death of me! 95% of the places I went into were not hiring, but of course they were still 'accepting applications'. Anyone who has ever worked a day in there life knows they really mean "no", but they have to say that or just feel bad for you. My two most promising jobs are currently Olive Garden and Yogurtland. I'd like to work at both, but if I could just get one that would be GREAT.

+Good news! Found a place that sells my Neurosonic drink :] YoZone sells them and it's like two blocks from my apartment. Looks like their website did not know the people of Provo, Utah aren't as behind as always assumed.

...Usually however, they are. Keep me updated with music people of Arizona pleeeaase :] Songs that were on the radio a month ago still haven't hit the stations here.

+I still haven't brought myself to change the clock in my car. It's the last bit of Arizona I have left! It doesn't get dark until past nine here so that is still going to take some getting used to. And I miss my bed, but I do not miss the 115 degree weather. Not one little bit!

Some pictures of my family and I in Sedona from the trip right before I left to Utah!
